Fox have confirmed new licensees for toys which will be made for the Avatar sequels. Not that I have any of the original toys/models, but it's exciting to know that there will be more new and exciting toys to add to the collection.
One UK partner is to be top toy brand Ravensburger who will introduce puzzles, games and costumes. Bring on fancy dress parties!

So I've never played on an Xbox in my life, but I really want one! And obviously if they are going to invent an Avatar game for Kinect then I will be sure to have one ready to get it. How cool would it be flying ikran, climbing Hallelujah Mountains, dodging in and out of forests... I'm already keeping my fingers and toes crossed for this!

Kinect isn't all it's cracked up to be. Trust me, I own it. It's fun but the technology isn't very far along.
I too would like to see a better Avatar game released. Better graphics, story, and controlls would be nice. They should trust Valve to make it. An Avatar MMORPG game would be awesome too.
If high detail PVC figurines were produced then I'd buy one. Got a few anime ones and a Na'vi one would fit right in.

Hmm, see Kinect is still in its prime so when it's updated and has had plenty of firmware updates I'm sure it will rock. I won't be getting it when I first get an Xbox around about July/August, so for me there is plenty of time for these updates and upgrades to happen before I get one.
No no no no! Not an MMORPG, not if you mean an online one like 'Habbo' anyway. That would totally suck because it would end up turning crap like Habbo did and some users would just spoil the whole experience for us.
I've just had a thought though, a sims like game would be awesome where you can build your own forest/RDA base and be your own Na'vi!!!! This idea is soooo getting put down into words and sent off to EA games to incorporate it with the Sims somehow - even if it was an add on pack for Sims 4 or something, haha!!

An MMORPG in the Avatar realm would actually sell very well and if done right, it would be very fun. What you are suggesting is an RTS; Real Time Stratagy. Think Starcraft.

I was thinking along the lines of Sim City/Theme Park World, but I've just seen the trailer for Starcraft (I'd never heard of this before now) and I stand corrected. It looks like an excellent game and if there was an Avatar game like this I'd definitely be interested. As long as it wasn't like WoW with monthly subscriptions to pay, I hate that!

Do they require downloads or are they online? I'll have to have a look into them if I get any free time.
Almost all MMORPG's require a download. Except for games like Runescape.
Now back to the subject of the thread please.

Of course, sorry!
Does anybody have any of the original action figures that came out? I think they look pretty cool but I wouldn't play with them and I begrudge buying things just to keep them in the box like collectors... reminds me of Toy Story 2 and the poor toys don't get played with!
I'll be intrigued to see what kind of puzzles they are going to make for Av2 though! Puzzles are more up my street.

im hoping for my family to get me the Toruk, and Jake and Neytiri to ride him....i have a handmade fabric model
of a firelizard (Anne McCaffry's Dragonriders of Pern) hanging from the celiing of our bedroom...with a little Captain Picard
sitting on her neck! ^_^ it took my husband a while to get used to seeing her hanging there. if i could get the Toruk, i would
hang him where the firelizard is now, move her over, and hang my little model of Toothless, from "How To Train Your Dragon"
on the end of the line.
i've done this kind of thing for years-i have a model of a falcon, made of cardstock weight paper, that hung on the light in
my dorm room, and it used to freak people coming in all the time...we had bats get in the dorm now and then, and people
would think 'BAT!' ^o^
