We have been starting to work on an article integration for AP where users can submit their own articles where users can rate, review, and comment about them. Separate from the forum. My question is: Does this interest anyone?

I think it's a good idea, but at the same time isn't this what blogs are for? Maybe you could alter it somehow to create a kind of 'highlighted blogs' section so that if anyone adds a blog that he/she wants rating/commenting etc they (or maybe even someone else who thinks the article is worthy) can 'suggest highlight' for the blog and it can be added to a highlights section? Just a thought, since blogs can cover any topic.
